Dr Simon Taylor began working on smartphone-powered AR during his PhD studies at the University of Cambridge in 2007. Simon co-founded Zappar in 2011 and continues to lead the development of Zappar’s proprietary computer vision technology and IP. Simon also heads up the team working on Zapbox - a revolutionary new headset that makes mixed reality affordable for everyone.
