Directing flat-screen and Virtual Reality films, specialising in story-telling from remote areas of the world. Currently directing a 6DoF branching narrative about the Yazidi genocide by ISIS in northern Iraq, and developing a 360/6DoF series on climate change. Director of award-winning five-part 360 series The Female Planet for Google VR, number 6 in the top 15 2018 YouTube VR films by Forbes Magazine. The Female Planet features young women who are breaking down barriers in their profession including an aerospace engineer working on NASA's Mars rocket and a fencer who became the first Muslim woman to represent USA at the Olympics. I have also directed 360 films for The British Heart Foundation, Save the Children and Plan International. "Mamie's Dream" for Plan International was filmed in Sierra Leone, and was in competition in the Alternate Realities festival at Sheffield Doc Fest 2017. I have also continued to direct flat screen commercials and fundraising films for Save the Children and Plan International. I am a mentor for YouTube's VR 180 Creator Lab for London and Tokyo, and a judge for the 2019 VR AWARDS.
