Elisabeth Noever-Ginthör has been head of Creativity & Business at the Vienna Business Agency since June 2014. She is involved in a wide variety of programs to promote the diversity of the creative industries in Vienna. Through monetary and non-monetary funding, new projects and services in the fields of architecture, fashion, music design and multimedia are made possible.

After holding positions at the MAK - Museum of Applied Arts and the RTR - Broadcasting and Regulatory Authority, Elisabeth, trained as a lawyer was responsible for the development of architecture, design, fashion and art market as a project manager at the Business Agency since 2006. In 2009, she co-founded the gallery festival "curated by_vienna", and has curated design projects for the Vienna Biennale and Vienna Design Week since 2015. She also launched the "Creative Days Vienna" in 2019 - a platform that addresses the opportunities of the latest technological and social developments on the creative industries. Since taking over as director, Elisabeth has set the thematic focus on "Social Entrepreneurship in the Creative Sector", "Crafted in Vienna - Urban Production in Vienna" and "Digital Realities - Virtual and Augmented Reality in the Creative Industries". The focus on "Culture & Technology" will provide creative impetus for digital applications in the arts and culture sector.
