SANNI SILTANEN D.Sc. (Tech), is Mission Lead for Immersive Digital Life Mission at Business Finland, which is the government organization for innovation funding and trade, travel and investment promotion. She also holds docentship (associate professor) in Industrial XR reality at Tampere University. Her background is in  extended reality (XR) technologies, especially in the industrial context.  She is one of the augmented reality pioneers in Finland. Sanni has over 25 years of expertise in applied research and product development. She has also authored over 50 scientific publications and holds several inventions and patents.  In her current role, she is enhancing the competitiveness of Finnish industries in the field of immersive technologies within the next ten years.
