Maged Farrag is a digital media evangelist and immersive experience pioneer with over 30 years of innovation across media, advertising, and emerging technology. He founded Mega Media in 1994, which grew to become Egypt’s leading multimedia service provider, producing award-winning content and pioneering the use of technology in advertising, communication, and cultural heritage documentation.

In 2013, he co-founded Fifth Dimension (5D) — a strategic merger of five companies working across digital marketing, creative content, and innovation. As its Creative and Innovation Director, he introduced cutting-edge technologies to the region, including augmented reality, game development, holographic projection, and interactive digital installations.

In 2016, he co-founded 5D VR, a company specializing in VR/AR experiences, immersive storytelling, and cultural heritage transformation. Most recently, in 2023, he founded UBR (Ultimate Battle Reality) — the region’s first free-roaming, multiplayer VR esports arena, pushing the boundaries of virtual gaming, spatial tech, and competitive entertainment.
