Finn began exploring the emerging world of video design and media servers in the early 00’s with theatre companies like Complicité and The English National Opera. This experimental and collaborative approach to theatre-making has formed the core of his practice. He has also worked across broadcast, opera, theatre, exhibition and fine art commissions looking at how video can create space and tell stories. He now focuses on large projects with a complex ambition for video design that requires large multidisciplinary teams to realise. He has won a Tony, two Oliver and three Drama Desk Awards and is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
