Most recently he was Chief Engineer and CTO of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). Previously he led engineering projects at NASA, General Motors and Hughes Aircraft. He has a BS in Engineering Physics and MS in Electrical Engineering - both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Currently he is an expert advisor to several companies and research programs, co-chairs the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing standards committee, is the Principal of GeoRoundtable and a Senior Advisor for Ethar, Inc.
