Matt White is the Director of the Generative AI Commons at the Linux Foundation. He is Head of AI & Data at Amdocs, as well as the Founder of the AI research group Berkeley Synthetic. He teaches graduate students Data Science at UC Berkeley. He is also the Co-Founder and Chair of the Open Metaverse Foundation a part of the Linux Foundation and a Board Director at the Metaverse Standards Forum. He has over 25 years of experience in AI and data and open source. He holds a Master of Data Science from UC Berkeley, an MBA from the University of Denver and a BSc IT from York University. He is the author of the soon to be released book, Generative AI For Business: The Essential Guide for Business Leaders.
