Stephanie Llamas is a veteran analyst in the immersive industry. She was the third hire at SuperData, a games market research firm, where in 2014 she began their XR practice. After SuperData was acquired in 2018 by Nielsen, she became Nielsen's head of games and XR research and strategy. She then went on to play a lead role in the World Economic Forum's metaverse initiative, publishing research on XR and Web3, and managing a stakeholder community of over 150 professionals and academics. Currently, Stephanie is currently Founder at VoxPop Insights, an agency that leverages data storytelling and research to spread thought leadership on the games, immersive and Web3 industries. Stephanie's research and insights have been featured in media such as NPR, Forbes, WSJ, NYTimes and MSNBC, and a number of industry events including CES and SXSW.
