Jason Rubin
VP, Metaverse Experiences Meta

For over 35 years, Jason Rubin has helped create lasting franchises in video games and entertainment, as well as jumpstart new media businesses. Jason co-founded Naughty Dog in 1984 and co-created the 'Crash Bandicoot' and 'Jak and Daxter' series, later selling Naughty Dog to Sony Computer Entertainment. He also served as President of THQ Interactive, and co-founded and sold a media startup to Fox Interactive/MySpace.

Jason joined Facebook as Head of Studios for Oculus in 2014 and led the team that brought the first wave of VR content to Oculus headsets. He went on to lead the Metaverse Content org at Meta, scaling the global team that builds and supports titles on Meta Quest headsets, including all first-party studios and third-party publishing for Reality Labs. He then served as VP of Play at Facebook, working on all initiatives on the Facebook Play Platform. Jason Rubin currently serves as the VP of Metaverse Experiences at Meta.
