Dawn M. Comer is the Executive Officer and Sr. Director of Digital Inclusion & Innovation for the City of Los Angeles, serving in the Mayor’s Office of Finance, Operations and Innovation. She was previously a FUSE Corps fellow for the City of Los Angeles, leading Smart City initiatives and a Senior Management Consultant at IBM, leading digital transformation for Fortune 500 clients. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, and most recently, just completed the Aspen Institute Tech Policy Hub’s Tech Executive Leadership Initiative (TELI) Program. In her spare time, Dawn enjoys the performing arts and teaching dance at her church.
