Markus Eger
Assistant Professor of Computer Science Cal Poly Pomona

Dr. Markus Eger is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Cal Poly Pomona, where he co-directs the CPP VR Lab. As part of this initiative, students learn how to develop VR experiences, from the initial design to the implementation. Dr. Eger's research revolves around AI and games, in particular how to build AI agents that cooperate, communicate and interact with humans in an intuitive manner. His current work involves procedural content generation for VR games, and how the generated content is perceived by the players. Dr. Eger has also served as the chair of the 19th AAAI conference on Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Digital Entertainment in 2023.
