Former Disney Imagineer, Refinery29/Vice Media Experiential Creative Director and Creative Technologist, Stephanie Riggs has been at the forefront of narrative innovation and immersive technology for over 25 years. Stephanie has led ground-breaking and award-winning projects across theatre, theme park, film, experiential, VR and AR. Her extensive experience designing and delivering exceptional experiences utilizes a unique combination of traditional storytelling techniques, research-informed development, and world-class technology. Her collaborations with media companies (Instagram, Google, Netflix, Amazon), start-ups, non-profits, and academia (Yale, CMU, NYU). Stephanie co-founded 5th Wall Forum, World Experience Organization, Women in Experience, Odeon Theatrical, and is the Founder of the blended reality cabaret, “Ink & Paint”. She was recently named “the renaissance woman of the immersive era” by the VRAR Association.

Passionate about inspiring diverse, interdisciplinary teams, Stephanie frequently mentors and speaks around the world (TedX, SXSW, SIGGRAPH, Stereopsia, BBC). Her acclaimed book, “The End of Storytelling” remains on the “Best Storytelling Books of All Time” as well as the “Best AR Books of All Time” lists. Stephanie graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama (Directing) and School of Computer Science (Human-Computer Interaction) simultaneously.
