Maria Tamellini is a co-founder and COO of GamerSafer, a platform that helps online games protect players and communities from child exploitation, disruptive behaviors, and fraud using Computer Vision and AI. Maria is building positive, ethical, and healthy technologies for youth and is an active member of Child Safety projects at the XR Safety Initiative (XRSI). As the co-chair of the Child Safety Working Group, Maria helped develop Child Safety standards for XR experiences. She has 12 years of entrepreneurship experience leading a successful Corporate Social Responsibility consultancy company, holds an international certification in social business, and has advised a portfolio of eighty businesses across the world. She is a Board Member of Latinas In Tech, a Headstream Innovator, and a UC Berkeley SkyDeck alumna.
