Now, tech giants and thousands of startups who are seeking growth opportunities beyond mobile have set spatial computing on a trajectory for exponential growth. Most large corporations are adopting spatial computing to improve their businesses driven by strong evidence it delivers measurable ROI, and consumers begin to appreciate the radical benefits of this technology which could signal the next dimension of humanity. In 2019, everyone must enter the next dimension to understand the impact it’s bound to have on their lives and businesses.
Now is the time to create killer apps in XR for training, healthcare, and entertainment. Over the past three years the foundation for immersive computing has been well established for businesses that are keen to find advances in technology that will benefit them. The XR hardware ecosystem is very strong with many excellent options to choose from. Now we are faced with the challenge to create the killer apps across 10 key industries. This talk will explore where we see clear blue ocean for companies to explore with immersive computing solutions.
This session will focus on the hard data about what's working (and what isn't) in today's AR/VR market, and where we go from here. It will also provide real world examples of companies delivering serious ROI already.
