Nathalie Mathe is a pioneer Virtual Reality creator, producer, consultant, and educator. She founded NativeVR, an independent XR studio focused on creating immersive experiences with a transformative and social impact. Her VR film Uturn was nominated for best interactive experience at the Raindance and FIVARS festivals and screened at a dozen international film festivals. She is the recipient of a French Film Board (CNC) VR writing grant. She has contributed to dozens of VR projects for Google, Facebook, World Vision, JauntVR, Condition One, and created visual effects for feature films like Fast & Furious 6, Skyfall and Dark Knight Rises.

She recently produced The Friend VR with video artist John Sanborn and director David Lawrence, which was exhibited at the ZKM Center for Art and Media in Germany in 2022 with support from HTC Vive Arts.

She is also a public speaker and has taught Immersive Media and XR at UC Berkeley, Drexel University, University of the Arts and BVAC Media.
