Veteran multi-platform media executive Scott Warren is the President and General Manager of CBS News and Stations’ local businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area, including KPIX (CBS), KBCW (The CW), the CBS News Bay Area streaming channel and CBSSF.com.

Warren Joined CBS News and Stations after serving as the Senior Director of News and Content at Spectrum News 1 in Los Angeles.

Prior to joining Spectrum, where he created and launched 24-hour news channels for the Los Angeles market and the state of Texas, Warren was an Executive Producer at CNN’s Headline News (HLN).  While there, he created and produced a daily talk show hosted by Michaela Pereira.

His background also includes The Weather Channel, where he created and launched AMHQ with Sam Champion and managed Wake up with Al (Roker).

Earlier in his career, Warren worked in the Bay Area as an Executive Producer in the news departments at the market’s Fox (KTVU) and NBC (KNTV) affiliates. He also was an Executive Producer at Tech TV in San Francisco, and a Managing Editor at Yahoo!

Warren earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Radio, Television and Film from California State University Northridge. He also majored in communications at the University of Arkansas.  He was an All-American Swimmer and Team Captain in College, and is an Eagle Scout.
