Michelle has a strong background and expertise in the field of behavior analysis and autism support. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), she has advanced knowledge and skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy.
Her clinical focus on natural environment teaching and family collaboration reflects a holistic approach to intervention, emphasizing the importance of incorporating learning opportunities into a child’s everyday environment and involving the family in the therapeutic process. This approach aligns with the idea of whole-child care, a unique approach pioneered by Cortica.
Prior to coming to Cortica, Michelle was a clinical director with a background in leadership and organizational growth. Michelle currently serves as a Manager of Learning and Development where she focuses on contributing to the professional development of teammates and ensuring the implementation of effective strategies for supporting neurodivergent children and their families.
