Alexandros Vigkos is a senior policy and research consultant, in the field of digital policy at Ecorys Brussels. He is working on policy studies such as policy impact assessments and evaluations as well as competitiveness, and other research studies, for the European Institutions (European Parliament, European Commission). Alexandros has an expertise in projects related to the digital transformation of EU industry, and has co-authored and led two studies analysing the EU Virtual and Augmented reality industry (in 2016 and 2020). Prior to Ecorys, Alexandros also worked at the European Commission, DG GROW (Unit for the European Semester and Member States Competitiveness). Graduated in Economics (Athens University of Economics and Business), he also holds a MSc. in European Integration and Development (Institute for European Studies of Vrije Universiteit Brussel) and is currently pursuing an LLM in Information Technology Law (University of Edinburgh).
