Deborah Perry Piscione is an investor, board director + advisor, thought leader in web3, innovation + risk-taking, seasoned Silicon Valley entrepreneur + New York Times best-selling author of Secrets of Silicon Valley among four other business books. Her next book tentatively titled; Employment is Dead! How the Metaverse will Change our Relationship with Work will be published by Harvard Business Review in October 2024.
Deborah is the architect of Improvisational Innovation, a bottom’s up innovation process that fosters a safe environment for employees to put forth new ideas in a trusted environment. The process has been adopted at McKinsey & Co, Accenture, Tata, Qualcomm among other larger enterprises and consulting practices.
As co-creator of WAGMAS, web3summit.xyz, a hype-free, web3 community + summits, Deborah works to help edify and transition enterprises + governments on the blockchain + web3 applications. Deborah is a global speaker and the subject of a Stanford University Graduate School of Business Case Study called, “Deborah Perry Piscione: Finding Opportunity in Silicon Valley.”
Prior to her move to Silicon Valley in 2006, Deborah spent 18 years in Washington, DC as a staffer in the U.S. Congress and the White House + served as an on-air commentator for CNN, and guest lecturer at Stanford University on topics including the Silicon Valley ecosystem and culture in addition to growing enterprises through innovation and entrepreneurship.
