A pioneer in nanophotonics, Antti started in the Chemistry department at the University of Oulu majoring in Inorganic chemistry and received his master’s in 2008. From 2006 until 2016 he is known for his work at VTT Research institute of Finland . Antti focused primarily on printability of functional inks in R2R processes, printed sensors, printed photovoltaics, roll-to-roll printed diagnostics tests and diffractive gratings manufacturing in R2R process and wafer level. In 2011, he narrowed his focus with diffractive gratings and augmented reality optics. In 2015 he co-founded Dispelix which was spin out from VTT officially in 2016. Dispelix was born and with an expert team for diffractive optics design and manufacturing. With Antti’s leadership, Dispelix secured tier one customers and has raised 47M€ so far. He is named inventor in multiple patents and patent applications.
