Joana Alemao is a software developer and virtual reality experience curator with Moonbeam, a virtual reality-based collaboration platform that seeks to globalize creativity. Through her work at Moonbeam, Joana connects global innovation ecosystems, startups, enterprises, through facilitated design thinking sessions over the metaverse.

Prior to joining Moonbeam, Joana was an Art Gallery Curator and an instructor, working with mixed medium artists bring their spatial visions to life. She bring this unique perspective to enterprise virtual reality to help create collaboration spaces that inspire and astound.

Joana lives in Lisbon, Portugal, is a full stack developer with a Degree in Art History and Postgraduation in Art Curatorship at NOVA University Lisboa.
