Your Past, Present, and Future In the Same Room: Self-Dialogue in XR

XR lets us become someone else — but what happens when we become ourselves, differently? This talk explores a triadic self-dialogue framework where users embody and converse with their child, present, and future selves in XR. Through real mixed-reality prototypes, I show how embodiment, voice, and presence transform self-reflection into a social, spatial experience—and why multi-self XR can be more powerful than talking to AI agents.
