The AWE Team is excited to welcome you to Long Beach. We are returning for our 17th edition to celebrate the world’s #1 XR and AI event. Below are the essential “Know Before You Go” details to ensure you have a seamless experience.


Where and When is AWE USA 2026 Taking Place?

When is check-in/registration open?

Pick up your badge on Monday to avoid the Tuesday morning rush and join our welcome festivities!

  • Monday, June 15: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Early Badge Pick-up)
    • Welcome Party sponsored by Qualcomm in the Promenade Lobby: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday, June 16: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, June 17: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Thursday, June 18: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

*We highly encourage picking up your badge on Monday to beat the Tuesday morning rush.

How do I get my badge?

All attendees must check in at the registration area (LBCC Main Entrance/Promenade Lobby). Please have the QR code from your confirmation email ready on your mobile device for scanning. Your badge will print instantly upon check-in. You must wear your badge at all times while at AWE USA 2026.

Is there a conference app?

Yes. The “AWE XR Events” app will soon be available in the Apple and Google stores. Select AWE USA 2026 and sign in with your registration email to build a personalized agenda, explore the floor plan, and connect with peers.

Will there be a bag/coat check?

Yes. A free bag and coat check service is available Monday through Thursday in the Promenade Lobby. Please note that on Tuesday through Thursday, the desk is staffed from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Lanyards and Badges

Can I pick up badges for colleagues? Yes, provided you give them their badges before they enter the venue. Otherwise, individual check-in is recommended.
Can I wear my own lanyard? For security, you must wear the official AWE lanyard. You may wear a personal one in addition if you wish.
Lost Badges: AWE has a no-reprint policy. If lost, please visit the Badge Assistance desk onsite.

I need a travel/Visa letter – can AWE help?

Yes. With at least 24 business hours' notice, AWE can provide a travel support letter. You can request one here.

What is the event attire?

Casual. We recommend comfortable shoes, as there are 150,000 sq. ft. of expo floor and 16 distinct tracks to explore!

What meals are provided?

Meals are not included with registration. However, food and beverages are available for purchase at various concession points throughout the convention center.

Will there be Wi-Fi and Power?

Wi-Fi: Complimentary basic Wi-Fi is available for light browsing.
Network: AWE_WiFi | Password: iSpatial26
Power: Charging outlets are located throughout the center. We recommend bringing a portable power bank, and international travelers should bring US adapters.
