Showcase your XR art at the new AWE 2026 Art Festival
Art works selected by the AWE committee will be showcased at the Art Festival located in the AWE Expo between June 15-18, 2026 and creators will have an opportunity to talk about their work on the expo stage. Art works accepted to the AWE Festival may be eligible for a travel stipend. The AWE Art Festival is now open for submissions of narrative XR art and immersive videos from around the world.
To be eligible for the festival the content must comply with the following requirements:
Must have been completed between April 1st, 2025 and April 1st, 2026.
Contents must be original narrative live action or animation XR (with or without interactivity).
Be available to experience in person at the event.
Content that requires complex or expensive installations will be accepted if the producers agree to cover costs and set it up onsite.
Official Selection status: You will be named an Official Selection of the 2026 AWE Art Festival.
Full 4-Day Pass: Receive a complimentary all-access Artist pass to AWE USA 2026 (June 15–18).
Dedicated Exhibition Space: AWE will provide a dedicated XR station loaded with your work to be displayed in the expo hall. Note: We can host your work even if you are unable to attend in person.
Global Promotion: Your Official Selection Badge will be featured across AWE’s social channels.
Travel Assistance: You are eligible to apply for a travel stipend of up to $500.
Speaking Opportunity: Present your project and creative process in a short, dedicated slot on the expo stage.
Why it pays to apply: Even if your work is not selected for the festival, applicants are eligible for a heavily discounted Artist Pass to AWE USA 2026. We want to ensure the creative community remains at the heart of the "I, Spatial" movement.
