Alison Morano is an AI governance strategist. XR spatial designer. Immersive creator & builder. Her work exists at the nexus of emerging technologies, public interest technologies, and institutional building. You can find her exploring how AI, spatial computing, and immersive environments will change the world we live in and how we lead, learn, govern, and work together on a global scale. 

Alison is the  founder of the Metaverse Chamber of Commerce and on the leadership team for XR Women Global. She creates cross platform initiatives that bring technologists, artists, educators, policymakers and enterprises together. From human centered design and responsible AI adoption, to governance frameworks and building for trust Alison creates programs at the intersection of technology and policy. 

With a master's degree in international relations and ongoing doctoral research in AI, machine learning, and leadership, Alison brings a policy informed lens to immersive technology. She has worked on AI governance, risk, and adoption strategies across public sector, nonprofit, and enterprise contexts, with particular attention to how immersive systems influence decision making, power, and social outcomes.

At AWE 2026, Alison contributes a perspective rooted in real world deployment, institutional design, and the practical realities of building ethical, scalable XR and AI ecosystems.
