Aaron Daly is an Assistant Professor at CSUN and a Virtual Production Supervisor specializing in Unreal Engine, LED volumes, and the practical application of digital twins. His work moves beyond the screen, focusing on the technical integration required to bring real-time art into physical, experiential spaces. By mastering the backend of real-time engines and the physics of LED environments, he develops workflows that allow digital assets to function reliably in live, real-world settings.
In his courses at CSUN, Aaron teaches the specific technical skills and production-set logic he learned while leading artist teams in the industry. He skips the theory to focus on the grit of the pipeline—showing students exactly how to build, optimize, and execute immersive projects that hold up under the pressure of a live environment. His focus is on the direct intersection of high-end technology and creative execution, preparing the next generation to build the actual infrastructure of modern experiential media.
