Dr. Jason Kao is an Associate Professor at the Game School based in Hamar where he has been a faculty member since 2018. Prior to Norway, he was a lecturer in digital media in the University of Malta and was a teaching associate in the University of Southampton, at both UK and China campuses. Jason completed his Ph.D. at University of Leeds and his undergraduate studies at National Taiwan University of Arts. His research interests lie in the areas of visual perception and immersion evaluation from quantitative aspect. He has collaborated actively with researchers and industry professionals in projects relevant to innovative applications in augmented reality, virtual reality and motion capture.
