Angus Stevens is the CEO and co-founder of Start Beyond, Australia’s leading award-winning virtual and augmented reality studio. Working with Fortune Global 500 companies Accenture and Meta, US-based VR company Strivr, as well as various Australian federal and state government departments and leading enterprises such Fire and Rescue NSW, Woolworths, Qantas and St Johns Ambulance; Start Beyond is at the forefront of the immersive learning, having delivered over 1.9 million AR and VR experiences since August 2015. Author of the novel, VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED, Angus is also a regular speaker on VR, AR and the Metaverse, both locally and abroad. He has been interviewed by ABC, Ch7, Sky News & the AFR, and has spoken at various industry events including SWSW Texas 2025, SXSW Sydney 2023, 24 & 25, as well as AWE Singapore 2024 where he will return in 2026.
