Thomas Suarez is an engineer and founder with over 13 years of AR/VR experience building software and hardware. Thomas has worn customized AR devices consistently since 2013, including Google Glass running Linux.
Thomas leads Raven Resonance, a ubiquitous computing research lab building stylish augmented reality glasses for all-day wear, plus a custom operating system that enables intuitive interactions with apps and physical devices.
Before Raven Resonance, he co-founded and led Teleportal, an augmented reality and 3D creator tools startup, where he led engineering for 7 years. His prior work includes building a modular 3D printer, hand tracking for Google Glass, firmware engineering for AI-powered connected devices, and human-computer interaction research at Georgia Tech under wearable computing pioneer Dr. Thad Starner.
Thomas is also known for a TED talk on computer science education, which made him one of the more visible young builders to emerge from the mobile app era.
