Leanne Chukoskie is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Art + Design and Physical Therapy, Movement and Rehabilitation at Northeastern University. She and her team at the Playful Mind Lab develop sensor-enabled experiences for assessment, intervention, and education. Her research on gaze-driven video games for intervention and assessment has been funded by the NIH for children with attention challenges and older adults at risk for cognitive decline. Through NSF-funded research on the Future of Work, she has developed supportive internship programming, as well as AR, VR, and game-based tools to help neurodivergent individuals practice the soft skills needed to be successful the workforce.
