Danial Ezzati is an award-winning XR/VR specialist, researcher, and game designer focused on human-centered immersive systems that translate into real-world learning and performance. Currently, he leads the Immersive Learning Lab at Con Edison, where he leverages cutting-edge spatial technologies to deliver user-centered learning experiences that support safer practices, enhanced workforce training, and scalable enterprise adoption. His technical expertise spans Unreal Engine and Unity, immersive UI, and accessibility integration, backed by years of cross-functional collaboration with engineers, educators, and subject-matter experts.

Danial’s portfolio bridges high-stakes industrial applications with scholarly digital humanities. Danial has led and contributed to research-driven XR projects, including QuanXR (an NSF-supported Quantum phenomen Immersive educational platform) and Multicultural Aleppo VR, and he engineered QE XR at the Volvo Group. He is also the Entrepreneurial and Technical Lead for SafeLab, an NSF I-Corps–supported XR-based safety training platform recognized. Danial is an active member of the XR Guild and a former IGDA Foundation Scholar, and he holds an MFA in Digital Media Design from the University of Connecticut.
