Liz Newton-Tanzer is a Virtual Reality Software Engineer at Mighty Coconut, creators of the award-winning Walkabout Mini Golf. Her work spans engineering, prototyping, and production-pipeline leadership, contributing to features that support Walkabout’s expanding universe of courses, multiplayer experiences, and cross-reality integrations.

She has previously led development on VR and AR applications across education, entertainment, and mixed reality tools, with a focus on intuitive spatial interaction and rapid prototyping for new hardware. She is passionate about creating shared XR experiences that feel more open, social, and real.

Liz holds a BA from New York University and a Master’s degree from Columbia University. She lives in Princeton, New Jersey with her husband and children.
