Dan Cui has been at the forefront of emerging technologies for over 30 years, specializing in sales, marketing, and the strategic launch of groundbreaking products. A pioneer in Augmented Reality (AR) since 2006, Dan has not only driven market adoption but has also played a key role in the ideation and development of innovative AR products. He was instrumental in creating the world’s first Android-based AR smartglasses, which were later acquired by Google for their Google Glass project. He also led the introduction of the Vuzix M100 and secured a strategic co-branded partnership with Lenovo China, expanding AR adoption in the Asian market.
Dan is passionate about bridging technology with real-world applications, delivering ROI-driven solutions in AR/XR and AI. His work at eMagin earned an Innovation Award at CES 2017 for integrating AR into a cell phone night vision product. More recently, he has helped companies across industries, including structural steel fabrication, adopt XR technologies to enhance processes and improve quality.
