She is the Managing Director for Reality Hack for Startups at MIT, where she works closely with founders to refine positioning, strengthen user experience, and bridge the gap between early prototypes and scalable businesses. She operates with a founder’s mindset, shaped by years of working alongside early-stage teams navigating ambiguity and constant iteration.

Karen leads her own independent practice across emerging tech, organizational design, and strategy, and collaborates with Cognitive Craft. She advises teams on how to integrate new technologies into products and workflows, with a focus on building systems that translate vision into execution and hold up over time.

Previously, she was VP of Client Services at Huge Singapore, where she led immersive XR and digital transformation work for Fortune 500 clients including P&G. Across more than a decade in Beijing, Shanghai, and Singapore, she partnered with startups and global brands to enter new markets and adapt to rapidly changing user behavior.
