Le Cong is an Associate Professor at Stanford University and Co-founder of AutoBio. His research spans CRISPR gene editing, single-cell genomics, AI foundation models, and agentic systems. His team is developing AI-XR-robotic co-scientists that can reason, see, and work with humans in real-world discovery. These efforts include platforms such as LabOS, LabClaw, MedOS, and CRISPR-GPT. His team's long-term goal is to build AI-native infrastructure that transforms biomedical research from isolated digital reasoning into embodied, collaborative scientific work at planetary scale.
