AWE USA 2026
Krupasagar Sridharan is an experiential designer, filmmaker, and co-founder of CustomTechnologies Design Lab, a multidisciplinary innovation studio working at the intersection of design, science, and technology. Based in Mumbai with a new innovation hub in Brussels, the studio develops human-centered immersive experiences that merge strategic design, behavioural research, and emerging technologies such as XR and AI.
Over the past decade, Krupasagar has led large-scale projects across healthcare, education, culture, and enterprise: from immersive learning environments and digital museums to interactive experience centres and immersive simulators for medical training and empathy simulators for caregiver education. His team’s work in the cultural and heritage domain has focused on mythology, folklore and oral traditions, using immersive storytelling, CGI, and extended reality to preserve and reimagine indigenous narratives for contemporary audiences.
At the scientific frontier, Krupasagar directs initiatives that explore the relationship between cognition, emotion, and experience design. These include The Learning Room, an XR-based behavioural assessment system for neurodivergent children; Dhyana, an adaptive mindfulness platform integrating artificial intelligence, neuroscience and biofeedback with traditional Indian meditation; and When She Married a Peepal Tree, an AI-generated immersive fable selected for The Booster 2025 at UnitedXR Europe.
His work reflects a consistent pursuit — to blend art, science, and technology in ways that deepen human empathy and expand our understanding of the self through experience.
