Laura Kusumoto, MS is a seasoned strategic advisor and emerging technology enabler, with startup and enterprise experience in industries from entertainment to healthcare. Her passion is helping groups align on innovative solutions, and guiding their successful piloting and implementation through the development of people, processes and tools. Her work has paved the way for first-mover products such as VR for employee well-being, AI chatbots in health care, immersive avatar-based training in virtual worlds, and beyond.  

Laura’s consultancy, IterationZero LLC,  provides independent analysis and innovation services that draw upon time-tested methods from her experience with Meta, Deloitte, Disney, Kaiser Permanente, LEGO and various startups. Laura currently serves on the boards for the Virtual Worlds Society, XR Women Global, and the advisory board for the International VR for Healthcare Association.
