Annie Eaton is an immersive content producer and technology executive specializing in interactive virtual and augmented reality experiences. She is the Founder and CEO of Futurus, an extended reality company that develops training simulations for enterprise organizations like Walmart, Delta Air Lines, Mars, Georgia-Pacific and more. She also serves as Executive Producer at Amebous Labs, the VR game studio behind Loam, and is the author of The Extended Reality Blueprint, a book designed to make AR and VR production approachable for everyone. Based in Atlanta, Annie is an active leader in the local tech scene. She manages XR Atlanta, a community that brings together thousands of extended reality professionals and enthusiasts, and is involved with Women in XR Atlanta, Women in Technology (WIT), and the VRARA.
Before entering immersive technology, Annie earned her degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and began her career in marketing. Her early exposure to virtual reality sparked a passion that led her to build her own company and push the boundaries of what’s possible with XR. Her work has earned honors from Women in Technology, Women in IT, TAG, and Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Awards. Annie is also a frequent speaker at conferences and events, where she shares her excitement for immersive technology and its potential to change how we learn, work, and connect.
