Emily Daviss is a physical therapist with over 13 years of clinical experience, specializing in neurologic disorders, chronic pain, and amputee rehabilitation. She has served as a clinic manager and lead PT across Outpatient, Inpatient, and Home Health settings, where she became known for her patient-centered, innovative approach to care.

Before co-founding AVRwell, Emily spent five years in the immersive medical device industry as Clinical Utilization Manager, where she was responsible for driving utilization across the entire U.S. She led national training initiatives, standardized the use of immersive healthcare within large hospital systems, and worked closely with clinicians to improve scalability and adoption. In this role, she gained deep expertise not only in clinical support, but also in sales and marketing, bridging the gap between technology, providers, and patients.

Now as Chief Clinical Officer of AVRwell, Emily combines her frontline clinical experience with her national leadership in immersive healthcare to develop and implement evidence-based XR rehabilitation solutions. She is passionate about ensuring that immersive technology is not only innovative, but also practical, scalable, and transformative for both patients and clinicians.
