Amanda Way is the CEO of CognifiSense, maker of VRNT - an FDA-cleared virtual reality behavioral therapy device for chronic pain relief. The company has been built with exceptional capital efficiency, achieving two FDA clearances and a commercial launch on primarily non-dilutive funding, including an active NIH SBIR Phase II award.

Before founding CognifiSense, Amanda spent eight years in venture capital at JAZZ Venture Partners and The Emerson Collective, where she led deals across biotech, medtech, AI, and human performance. A trained EMT whose roots in a blue-collar Rhode Island community shaped her commitment to opioid alternatives, she brings both personal mission and institutional rigor to the pain care space.

Amanda also serves as Global Program Director at Life Science Intelligence, leading programming across three global medtech summits, is a competitive synchronized skater, and a passionate advocate for building technology that reaches the patients who need it most.
