Melissa Wantland is a Staff User Experience Researcher at Google. Currently, she leads product definition research for emerging XR form factors and serves as a Google-wide expert in Accessibility. Prior to her role on XR, she drove Android research on Accessibility, Input, and Expressions across 10 annual releases, from Marshmallow (v 6.0) through Vanilla Ice Cream (v 15.0). Melissa specializes in bringing the voice of the user to the heart of product development and enjoys operating in the zero-to-one phase. She holds a Master of Science in Urbanization and Development from the London School of Economics.
