Quinn Taber founded Immerse, the metaverse for language learning, in early 2018 while working as an investment analyst for a large charitable foundation in Asia and the Middle East.  Immerse has raised $11.5m and closed multi-year licensing contracts with each of the top eight language education companies in Europe and Asia thus gaining access to these companies' 1.5 million language learners.

In addition, Immerse secured a landmark partnership with Meta in 2021 to launch the first D2C educational platform in the metaverse. Since then they have ranked among the top VR apps for daily active usage, revenue per user, and churn. 

Immerse won the 2022 VR awards for “most innovative VR company” and “Top Education VR company” and Quinn was named Forbes 30 Under 30.
